Fondoo

Post to 21 social networks (and draft for Reddit) from Claude

Write the post in Claude, then let Claude schedule it to LinkedIn, X, Threads, Bluesky, TikTok and more. Here's the MCP setup and the rules that keep your accounts safe.

TL;DR

  • Add Fondoo to Claude as a custom MCP connector (or to Claude Code with one command), then connect your social accounts through a secure link.
  • Claude writes the post; schedule_social_posts sends your copy to the networks you choose, at the time you choose, with tracked links.
  • X posts with a link cost $0.50 each unless you connect your own X developer key, and Claude has to confirm the charge explicitly.
  • Reddit posts are never automatic. Fondoo checks your draft against the subreddit's rules and you submit each one yourself with a prefilled one-click link.

Claude is good at writing a launch post. Copying it into a dozen apps, trimming it for each character limit and scheduling it is the boring part. Fondoo hands that part to Claude, with guardrails so an over-eager agent can't spam your accounts.

The 21 networks, plus Reddit drafts

Hosted Fondoo publishes through one connection to:

TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Google Business, Discord, Telegram, Slack, Mastodon, Nostr, Lemmy, Dev.to, Hashnode, WordPress, Whop and Listmonk.

Reddit is drafts only for now: Upload-Post, the provider behind hosted posting, can't publish to Reddit at the moment. Claude drafts the post, Fondoo checks it against the subreddit's rules, and you post it with one click.

A few work differently by design:

  • Discord, Telegram and Slack post announcements to your own communities.
  • WordPress, Dev.to and Hashnode are cross-posts that point a canonical link back to your site, so search engines credit the original.
  • Listmonk is newsletter sending for self-hosters.
  • Reddit and Lemmy always need a human, covered below.

If you'd rather use your own scheduler, you can switch the social provider to Postiz, or use your own X key, and Claude's tools stay the same.

Step 1: Connect Fondoo to Claude

Claude (web or desktop)

Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the Fondoo MCP URL (https://api.getfondoo.com/mcp), and sign in. You pick the workspace and approve the scopes. No API key to copy.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user fondoo https://api.getfondoo.com/mcp

Run /mcp inside Claude Code and authenticate in the browser. Self-hosting? The self-host guide shows the local URL and agent key setup.

Step 2: Connect your social accounts

Ask Claude: "Connect my LinkedIn, X and Bluesky to Fondoo." It calls connect_social, which returns a secure connection page. You open it and authorize each network. OAuth consent is always yours; Claude never sees your social passwords or tokens.

Afterwards list_social_accounts shows what's connected and what each network supports: formats, character limits, whether links are allowed, and daily caps.

Step 3: Write and schedule

Claude writes the copy (you bring the AI, so there's no post quota). Then it schedules the supplied variants:

schedule_social_posts({
  siteId,
  idea: "Pro plan launch",
  scheduledAt: "2026-11-18T15:00:00Z",
  variants: [
{ accountId: linkedinId, text: "We just launched Pro: ... https://myapp.com/pricing" },
{ accountId: blueskyId, text: "Pro is live. ... https://myapp.com/pricing" },
    { accountId: threadsId,  text: "Shipping day. ... https://myapp.com/pricing" }
  ]
})

A few things happen automatically:

  • Tracked links. Every link becomes a tracked link with UTM tags, so you can later see "this post → visits → signups → revenue." Links aren't shortened or disguised.
  • Caps and slots. Each network has a daily cap and posting windows. get_publishing_capacity shows what's left today.
  • No copy-paste spam. Variants for the same network across different accounts have to be meaningfully different. Adding a tracking ID doesn't count.
  • Real media only. Images and videos must be real screenshots or footage you upload. There's no AI image generation path for posts.

get_social_calendar shows everything scheduled over a date range, including drafts.

X charges for API posts that contain links, so Fondoo makes that cost visible instead of hiding it:

  • Link-free X posts go out as part of your plan.
  • An X post with a link costs $0.50, or nothing from us if you connect your own X developer key (X bills you directly).
  • Claude has to pass confirm_paid_x_link: true. Without it, the call stops with: "This post has a link: you'll be charged $0.50. Supply confirm_paid_x_link: true or connect your own X key."
  • Paid X links need pay-as-you-go turned on with a payment method, and there's an owner-set monthly cap.
schedule_social_posts({ siteId, confirm_paid_x_link: true,
variants: [{ accountId: xId, text: "Pro is live: https://myapp.com/pricing" }] })

If you'd rather avoid the charge, leave the link out of the X variant and keep it on the other networks.

Reddit: human-approved, rules-checked

Reddit communities have their own rules about self-promotion, flair and AI-written content, and breaking them gets accounts banned. So Fondoo never posts to Reddit on an agent's own say-so.

Claude uses draft_community_post with the subreddit, your draft and the community's current rules:

draft_community_post({ siteId, network: "reddit", subreddit: "SideProject",
  rulesText: "<paste the sidebar rules>", title: "I built a ...", text: "...", aiAssisted: true })

Fondoo flags promotion windows or bans, required flair, AI-content bans, near-duplicate copy across subreddits and numbers you haven't verified. It returns a prefilled Reddit submit link. You read it, edit it and click submit. These are conservative text checks, not a guarantee a moderator will approve.

Lemmy works the same way: every post needs your approval, per post.

Approvals and automatic publishing

By default, scheduled posts follow per-network approval rules you control. Only a human owner can turn on automatic publishing or change caps (update_distribution_rules is owner-only). When an automated system batch goes over 20 posts in a day, it goes to the approval queue no matter what.

When something needs you, list_approvals shows it and you approve or reject from the link.

A simple weekly routine

  1. Monday: ask Claude to draft five posts from your latest changelog or blog post.
  2. Review them in the calendar, edit what you don't like.
  3. Approve, and let schedule_social_posts spread them across the week.
  4. Friday: ask Claude "which posts drove signups this week?" It reads attribution from your tracked links.

Your agent can do the same with a release: one set of release notes becomes social variants, a blog post and a newsletter section. Pair this with newsletters that land in the inbox.

FAQ

Do I need a separate scheduler like Buffer?

No. Social posting to all 21 networks, plus Reddit drafts, is included in each site. One social set is included; extra sets are $3/month. See /pricing.

Can Claude post to Reddit automatically?

No. Every Reddit post is checked against the community's rules and submitted by you with one click, one post at a time.

Why does an X link post cost $0.50?

X charges for API posts with links. We pass that cost through, ask Claude to confirm it each time, and cap it monthly. Connect your own X key to avoid our charge.

Does this work with ChatGPT or Cursor instead of Claude?

Yes. Any MCP client can call the same operations, and there's a REST API for everything else. See starting a business from ChatGPT.

Does Fondoo write the posts?

Your agent writes them. Fondoo doesn't sell AI credits; it handles scheduling, caps, approvals and measurement. Why we work this way.
